  • What makes me different: Yes, lawyers are expensive, but I charge less than other attorneys with my experience, because I keep a low overhead and maximize use of technology. I’m very knowledgeable when it comes to dividing real estate and retirement plans, and what to do with nonmarital property--assets that were originally (or were derived from) assets owned before the marriage, inherited by one spouse, given to one spouse, or received from a personal injury settlement. I have taught other attorneys at seminars about property and debt. My practice is very personal–you will be dealing only with me and not with paralegals or secretaries. My office is low key in a suburban location with free parking–no fancy furniture or other trappings, and I don’t spend my money on a lot of suits. But if we do have to go to court, I will put on a first class presentation, and I am respected at the courthouse for my experience, know-how, and credibility. I will quote you a flat rate for a divorce with no conflict, or will charge hourly if it becomes difficult. Unlike many attorneys, I will discuss your situation over the phone, and without charge.
